The UN had 17 Resolutions against Hussein for his development and use of WMD (ex: the Kurd's had WMD used against them by Saddam Hussein). After 9/11 our Govt recovered 500 metric tons of enriched uranium to be used to make nukes in Iraq. Our own military is waterboarded as part of SERE training on a regular basis. Kalid Sheikh Mohammend bragged that he cut off the head of Daniel Pearl...that's torture. Waterboarding is not. However, there was a recent illegal war run by the Democrats in the 80s (Charlie Wilson, Congressman, Democrat-Texas) and was a violation of the Logan Act. Congress spent billions on that war and it was NEVER approved/voted on by Congress. However, this Democrat lead Congress did vote to fund what you call Bush's "illegal war" in Iraq...making it legal. The liberals in Hollywood made a movie celebrating their warmongering called "Charlie Wilson's War" with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts...check it out. Saddam's Iraq sponsored a terrorist Training camp, the Salmon Pak Terrorist Training Camp, complete with a Boeing 737 on which they trained to take down passenger airplanes (clearly visible in satellite photos). They also provided medical treatment to Al Zarkawi and others after injuries in Afghanistan fighting US forces.
